SWIP-NL Leesgroep: Nigeria en Filosofie

Tijdens deze leesgroep maken we kennis met drie toonaangevende vrouwelijke filosofen van Nigeriaanse afkomst: Sophie Oluwole, Nkiru Uwechia Nzegwu en Oyeronke Oyewumi. Centraal staat de vergelijking tussen het gedachtegoed van deze filosofen en “westers” denken. Alle drie auteurs hebben zich met deze vraag bezig gehouden.

Er bestaat een groot aantal inleidingen in Afrikaanse filosofie, bundels met essays over een bepaald onderwerp in Afrikaanse filosofie en boeken over Afrikaanse filosofie door Afrikaanse auteurs.
